PRODUCT INFO
Mono Screw threads are heatless press-cut, dissolvable polydioxanone (PDO) sutures with a smooth (non-barbed) monofilament wound in a coiled screw configuration. They are manufactured from high-purity polydioxanone, a biocompatible material used in surgical sutures for decades. Because the threads are press-cut without heat treatment, they retain their molecular integrity and flexibility, which supports uniform performance during insertion and predictable absorption over time. The coiled configuration increases the surface area of thread in contact with surrounding tissue relative to a straight mono thread.
- Thread Type: Screw (coiled), non-barbed Smooth PDO
- Thread Material: Polydioxanone (PDO)
